I am a SOUR & SORE loser…
yikes… yep undoubtedly i am a sore loser. A real painful sore loser. Why? I’ve put in so much hope and effort in the volleyball game but still lost to the opponents in the IMU Cup.
Nevertheless, i have learned to cope with the upsetness and dissapointment. Besides the individual skills i thought should be improved for the future (which is next year for my juniors and *GKW-I’ll-be-playing-next-time), I have also learned encouragement and support for each other are the essentials in keeping the game going. Teamwork and communication are crucial to live up the fighting spirit. Alertness and never-to-give-up spirit are the important factor to keep in control. But alas, it is only this time i realized that we lack some of the attitude. I think I have played well and hope dear Junie thought the same too. We have played superbly fine as we have rescued so many dead balls. Even the medic faculty faci Benji said that among everyone in all the teams only Junie and I dare to dive and save the ball (Wattodo… no one else dare and we have those call KNEE GUARDS! ho ho ho). I rest this issue as next year my second hand player Junie will hone the skills of the current and future players. Thanks to the current players who played with me for the two games.
Then again, whatever i have contemplated does not only apply in games and sports. I know for sure these are the attitudes that make a person with person-ality. Surely if there’s none of this attitude i guarantee the person is a fuckin square geek. Eww, i never wanna grow up that way…
To those who are reading this and somehow enlightened you up or cause a sudden epiphany to yourself, i want to use the ever-overused-phrase “Live life fullest”… yea, u only got to live everyday, every hour, every minute and every second once. There is never the second 26th Sept 2004 Sunday 11:12:23 again. Make a date with someone you want to know more. Set a time for you to do your favourite activity with your favourite person, but please *ding dong*, of course, the rationale is also to provide some space for the safety margin before any attempts too. I’m sure there are loadz of other activities you wanna do, ay?
