home bound, more or less
Ah, finally pushed myself to update this blog of mine. A task usually effortless then, these days I find myself procrastinating to put up a new post. Really, I do have things in my mind. For instance I WANT to write a criminal story, however… I WANT to write about buggers on the street outside my apartment, but… I WANT to write about the person currently “stalking” me, then again… there are too much to be done. Of course, there are other stuffs that I presently am getting more “involved” in…
1) Class tests: Doesn’t everyone just enjoy the challenge of the season??? FOUR bloody tests, all included for assessment. And they’re not all one subject. One subject requires total memory work. 100% - it’s just a “remember them or die at home because you’re being nagged at like a lil’ whore” kinda subject. Another one requires understanding and critical thinking. What I meant by that? basically critically thinking to all those critical questions that some may probably cause “critical damage” to brain cells. The other two are more or less memory+CT (which is all good as we were quipped with practices from the above mentioned subs).
2) Convo mag: Being a head of Graphics Dept back in my late days in high school doesn’t help much this time. The majority sum of the crew have not done anything similar or even close to producing a magazine before in their schooling days. My say? Good job. I’m doing the sponsorship division. I hate handling money. SERIOUS! I hope you guys read this! Nevertheless, it’s experience making. Wondering now how’s the progress over on the major team, the Graphics people.
3) IMU Ball 2005: Being in a position where I am is very political. Why? Being who I am, close affiliates and friends may deem me “influential”. But being who I am at where I currently am, things can get tough. It is like putting the wisest man with ah beng long white beard trying to tell innocent 3-year-olds still in nappies on “Cronicles of The Wise Man”. Kids don’t wanna listen to a boring old man. Kids won’t wanna listen to a story of a man who turns so wise and grey. They would want to know if the man could tie a ribbon with his ah beng beard. They’d definitely like to listen to a story of him being wise and able to shoot out kami-kale-ha sonic beams from his palms. Bottomline is… me being a Pharmacy rep who is also the Vice Pres for the IMU Ball 2005, trying to convince and instil the fact to the mass of Pharm Faculty that IMU Ball is NOT a Medic Ball, rather it is the IMU populations’ ball can be quite a tormenting challenge. Somebody bite me on the 9th April Night. PLEASE.
4) Stalking a stalker: Whoa! Somehow, somebody from somewhere in KL who probably studied in SMK Bukit Bandaraya, born in the year of 1982 got my personal details of me and my handphone number! Thrilling… I shall speak no further ‘coz I do not know and I can’t find a way to identify this fella.
5) Being sick: If you’d have the chance to visit IMU, by all means, I welcome you. IMU building is, by far, I know can have the four seasons in the very same building. The coldest winter (minus the snow) in the library and rooms, the hottest hot on the rooftop, Springtime at random areas where you can find greens lurching at corners of walls, and autumn at the vicinity of the building.
6) DOTA: This game is addictive. No more comments.
As regard to no. 5, I am currently home bound, a consequence from being hardworking and diligent in the cold library of IMU. I need to rest. I am currently in love…
with my bed.
