As I continue on…
WHOOPS! that’s for the whoop-ing 11 days of not updating my readers and updatees about my continuation of the last four days of my trip that I’ve promised about.
So, where was I…
Oh, yea, and from the Loch Ness and Inverness City my fellow mates and I toured on to the Western Isles which includes Lockalsh, Skye, then the Outer Hebrides, that are the Lewis and Harris.
Day 5 was a day tour on the Lockalsh and seeing that getting to the waters is some interesting tourist-must-do kinda stuff, we jumped onto the boat, paid the driver and got him sailing us along the coast to see the lighthouse and the wildlife which, I really thought it could be some heck of an experience to actually do these sorts. Most unfortunately, the inner me could not ooze out any passion for such sightseeing activity, thus what I could only name what I saw were seals, jelly fish, starfish and crabs.
*grinzz* As you can see, we were trying to get a view that we were in fact on the boat and we were indeed sailing along the coast.
And tadaa! A seal that we spotted. Erm.. according to the sailorman, this seal’s shedding and growing new fur for the winter. Talk about the seasonal UK fashion… *phoooh*
Late that evening, we zoomed straight off to the Skye and stayed for the weekend there, did alotta walking and erm… watching and hiking… (erm… that’s all, think) If anyone would love outdoor walking, undoubtedly Skye’s a place to do that in Scotland.

As I said sightseeing, that did not only mean seeing the sights. Above here, that’s us waiting for sunset before supper and waiting on…
We journeyed through the last 2 days over the Outer Hebrides and there were very limited of “really good looking” pictures, and I’ll explain why. That’s because… the winds for the last two days were bloody 35mph and the intermittent showers were not very pleasant for picture-taking. No human casualties, thankfully but our umbrellas were otherwise, suffered terrible distortion. Rain in Scotland goes sideways and i mean HORIZONTALLY sideways. Not just diagonally or so, but rain over really really goes left to right or right to left. And before we ferried back to the mainland from Harris, one Scotsman I was complaining to about the weather just coolly said, “Well, dear, welcome to Scotland and pray for the most pleasant days while you’re here!”
hahaha~ love what that Scotsman said :p
Umbrella suffered “Terrible distortion” huh.. tried rain coats? They’re kewl-er, btw :p
How does the rain defy the gravitational force?! I wan a pic of it!!! (kesian I can only see big-ass droplets of rain pouring down flooding up major KL roads and bring traffic to a halt…)
