Time

It is not owned by any of us lesser mortals.
Sprints off at an infinite speed that no one ever notices how valuable each passing second to the passing year.
Seems insignificant by itself, when one looks at the face of the clock.
But we all know everyone is after it, subconsciously.
Until then, we only hope to say,
“No, time is waiting for me.”

As much as people would say age gracefully and elegantly, i guess i cannot accept the fact that i wake up every morning to realize that i have gone old… by a day. Gah! That feeling sapping through the skin, not sure is it from inside out or outside in… is harsh. Like a fire alarm going off in the middle of the night when you finally are able to sleep soundly after a whole exhausting week. Like having lil’ Chucky as your only birthday gift. Like being robbed in the day and realizing your dinner being eaten by your pet-cat when you got home. All of that happening and you still can’t avoid being old. So inevitable.

I hate getting old.

Quote of the post: “Let there be eagles in the sky, with pigs that fly.” - eagles flying sky high symbolize strength, positivity and the desire to reach high. We all know pigs can’t fly, BUT it is never wrong to imagine that. So, it’s never wrong to have a dream. Da vinci once said one day humans will be able to fly, and he’d ridiculed the people of his time, no? Look what are pilots for today?

Old??
Well, I guess technically, everyone is getting older, but you’re not really “old” la.. if you know what I mean.. heh.. How can you be old? I’m not that old, so I think you being one month older than me doesn’t qualify as being old, ya? ;-)

Btw, just stumbled upon your blog after you mom talked about it.. haha.. you seem to be enjoying Scotland alot!

Cheers

If you’re getting old, I suppose I should be just as worried. Come on, forget about ageing, live the present!
