Faded and Finally Gone…
Because I have no more remaining reason to stay.
I chose to come back. Earlier by a month. Given the options of either blowing another GBP60x 4(weeks) or living measly by occupying with abunch of friends elsewhere or living under my parents’ shelter and pamper; the last option had a strong influence to my final decision. Like why not? So I have thought.
No more hassle-free online. More frown lines are appearing.
No more convenient and punctual public transports. More slacking at home.
No more liberal supervisors. Only exploitation.
No more freedom of speech. Only inane remarks accepted.
No more home delivery. Only double parkings and more forgotten packages.
No more jackets and jumpers. More deliberate ridiculous on-lookers.
No more Thornton’s. More a reason to lose some weight.
No more weekend’s hangover and stoning. More weekdays to look forward to just to knock me out.
No more student discounts. Only fear of ageing that belittle every part of me and saps every breath I take.
No more high heels. Only 5′ 7″ women know why.
Once, there was a child who awaited to see the wonders of the whole world. Today, the whole world awaits to see the wonders that grown-up child can do.
