Workshop or Wordshop?

It was the weekend ago that I have been to a workshop organized by the Seremban Hospital’s and Melaka’s Pharmacy Departments. dub dub dub yada yada yada. So till I was there, the objective of the whole workshop was how to create an ideal counter-patient service in the hospital pharmacies. So much had been spoken, so many typical and old-school words. *yawnz*
I realized…

People here seemed to put so much importance on the attire we display but forget alot of the service, manners or even professionalism as a … well, professional. Theoritically, should we be naked underneath the white coats, the health service we provide should be top-class or at least at the peak of our standard, no?
While simple problems should be solved first, funny how they want to make sure the aesthetics come first.

To prevent problems? Nah, one told me before, “Everything here should have a problem. So we are there to solve the problem mar…” *ponders ponders*

A senior once said to me, “you are young and full of energy. Therefore, you’ve so much drive to want to do loads of things to change. One day you’ll be like me, sit down and get used to everything.” Will I? *sheesh*

I’m a confused person since I came back. Cliche- Welcome to the real world. I know… I know… But I did work elsewhere before, haven’t I? Perhaps in four years time, I would want to see what’s others doing elsewhere. Bring it on, baby!

Being a Law-abiding Pharmacist

That is not going to be my future intention if I should fail the Pharmacy Forensic Paper today.

But the truth is… the paper busted me this morning. So what if I know what to do and what not to do in name of justice when I am on duty? Apparently ‘impracticallity’ is the norm going on in my homeland, where simply, students and even working professionals like us have to take written tests to justify our profession.

O bugger!

Question:What must we abide to under Poison Regulations ‘52 when supplying any poison?

A. Regulation 9, 11, 12

B. Regulation 9

C. Regulation 12

Me: … *feeling at the most illiterate at that very moment of time*
No, I do not know what’s in the Poison Regulation 9, 11, 12 for all that matters. BUT I do know, should I dispense any poison, there’s a list of things that I should fill onto (that I should not bother boring you with) and should I supply any poison in bulk, there’s another whole list of protocol I should be practicing. Get the picture?

*sigh*

I blame myself this time for not reading the 2 orange books squarely. I blame myself for merely reading those books to know what’s my duty but left off the bullet headings/subheadings.

So who am I to whine and complain? It is NOT a practical exam afterall, ay? Sometimes, people lack of objectives in their daily doings due to lack of practicallity. Sometimes, people strive so hard only to know by the end of the day things don’t make any sense at all. People in general.. or at least i know it happens here.

Alot.

Better attempt next time.

In case anyone wondering how’d I get my own domain, I received it as a gift from my brother. Woot. What do you get from an IT guy? A gift as such. Woot woot. That’s double woot. This new site is gonna be something different from Nobby’s. So… ANYWAY…

This year’s birthday gifts are so koooooL. A domain of my own, a compilation album from muh gurls, a tea collection from a faraway friend, a sun-lover’s soothing derma-therapy, earings, and multiple meal invitations. I love to write, I love reflecting my youthful vanity, i enjoy my everyday cuppa, i worship the sun, I accessorize myself and I eat to live. Ah, my sweet 22nd. I’m lovin’ it.
Meantime life’s a lil’ chaotic. Therefore, havng to multi-task is essential and seems to begin internalizing into me, causing a default skill for me. This week’s gonna take a toll of my soul. GRR. Work, study law, read project papers, write out reports, write up some letters to Pharmaceutical companies, then sleep. Wake up. Copy the previous sentence 7 times and voila - my week to come. After this week, I’m taking my first attempt of my forensic exam. Wish me luck, otherwise… let’s go for tea. A week after next, that is.
