Mistaken lost

What I have held, I have lost grasp.
Now, should I learn from this mistake?
Or… Then, could I have learned of the lost before my purposeless action?
I blame ‘time’.
For there is no human who could have induced me with such mental pain.
For the passing of time could only wean me off my childishness.
For lack of time brings out the selfishness in me.
I must have lost the one-that-never-was.
And I am sorry for myself for such mistaken lost.
